Maple-Nut Whipped Cream Pumpkin Pie

INGREDIENTS:
Pumpkin Pie
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 tbsp packed light brown sugar
1/2 tsp maple extract
1/4 cup pecan pie glazed pecans, chopped
OPTIONAL maple leaf candies, to garnish
DIRECTIONS:
  1. On medium-high speed, beat heavy cream, brown sugar and maple extract until soft peaks form. If desired, transfer to a pastry bag fitted with large star tip. Pipe or spread over pumpkin pie.

  2. Sprinkle pecan pie glazed pecans, around the edge of pie.

  3. If desired, garnish with maple leaf candies.
